Pythonscape

The first day of the 10th annual BrickCon convention coincides exactly with the 40th anniversary of the release of the first Monty Python movie. So, in the spirit of this year's BrickCon theme of "Building a Community", the Bricks of Character area will be proudly hosting a special Monty Python themed diorama entitled "Pythonscape".

Pythonscape is a collaborative effort, involving many builders. It will consist of a series of MINILAND (ie. theme park) scale depictions of classic scenes from the Monty Python TV show and movies. Each section should be built upon one or more 32x32 baseplates and include both characters, props and scenery. The various sections will then be pushed together to create the final display. Pythonscape is more than just a theme - it's essentially one gigantic MOC!

UPDATE: Pythonscape is still looking for builders to contribute additional sections! If you are a massive Python fan with a favorite Python moment you'd love to see rendered in LEGO, then head on over to the Pythonscape planning page, read the guidelines, and sign yourself up! All contributors will receive a one-of-a-kind full color Pythonscape badge brick. Dead parrots optional.
